Evan Doyle, WHS Director of Bands

Evan Doyle joined the Westborough High School Faculty in the fall of 2014. Prior to that, he taught in the Houston, TX area for 7 years. A native of Massachusetts, Mr. Doyle is an alumnus of the University of Massachusetts Amherst where he was fortunate to have learned from George Parks, Lynn Klock, Malcolm Rowell, and Lanfranco Marceletti. He also has a graduate degree from Western Carolina University, where his assistantship included working with the "Pride of the Mountains" Marching Band, the Wind Ensemble, and the saxophone studio. Among his mentors at WCU were John West, Bob Buckner and Matt Henley.
Mr. Doyle is also one of the lead clinicians for the George N. Parks Drum Major Academy. Through DMA, he is fortunate to work with over one thousand high school and college student leaders each summer, helping them to develop the conducting, teaching, and leadership skills necessary to serve as leaders of their bands.
Mr. Doyle currently resides in Sutton with his wife, Avery, and their two lovely daughters.
